The Virginia Tech College of Architecture and Urban Studies restructured on July 1, 2022 and became the College of Architecture, Arts, and Design. In the restructuring, the School of Architecture and Design split into two schools, and the college gained the School of Performing Arts. Two of the school websites (Architecture + Design and School of Visual Arts) existed outside of the university content management system.
As the Digital Communications Manager for the college, I took the lead on creating the phased launch plan for moving, creating, and launching four distinct but also cohesive school websites in one year.
